How It Works

To be eligible for Global Paratransit’s services, you must first have an Access ID # from Access Transit Services.  If you do not have an Access ID #, you may visit Access website for the application process at Asila Gaining Eligiblity.

Once you have obtained an Access Transit ID #, GPI will provide you transportation to and from your appointment.  To request transportation you will need to:

  1. Call Global Paratransit at (877) 517-6884. Have your Access ID # ready before making the call.  We will need this information to check your status of eligibility to book your ride.
  2. Booking trips will be accepted from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  All trips must be scheduled the day before your appointment.
  3. Inform the Customer Service Representative what kind of mobility device (cane, walker, manual wheelchair, or power wheelchair) you will be using.
  4. Inform the Customer Service representative if you need help to and from the vehicle.  You will need to bring a care giver or personal care attendant (PCA).
  5. Be ready at the appointed time. Global Paratransit is a curb to curb service so the driver will not come to your door.  You need to be outside waiting.
  6. To check the status of your appointment or the estimated time of arrival (ETA) for your pick-up, you may call
Phone: 1-800-883-1295 option # 1 for English or #2 for Spanish.

Canceling Your Ride Reservation:

If you are unable to go to your appointment please call us as soon as possible so that someone else can use that appointment time and ride.  To cancel a reservation, please call:
Phone: 1-800-883-1295 and choose Option # 1 for English or Option #2 for Spanish.

Special Trip Requests

Global Paratransit understands that ASI may, from time to time, be asked to provide special trips to individuals involved in special ASI activities outside of the Southern Region service area.  Global Paratransit will accommodate these requests whenever possible, at the agreed upon rate.
